This peculiar marathon, with more than 16 editions now, has been filling with originality and fun the streets of Puerto de la Cruz with an explosive combination and sometimes with more than 300 people taking part in it, making this extraordinary race something you shouldn’t miss.

What is required to take part in mascarita ponte tacon?
- You have to be a man
- You have to wear a costume
- High heels with specific heigh ( 10-15 cm generally) are a must
Participants, with high heels on , will have to complete an itinerary through several streets in Puerto de la Cruz but to make everything funnier, they’ll find obstacles they’ll have to sort.
If you are tempted to try , just inscribe yourself at Plaza del Charco and , who knows, you might also get one of the prizes.
